It has a minute since I have blogged. This crazy thing called life has taken over!
I wanted to share with you my newest "thing" I have taken on.. RUNNING! I had recently thought about it, and Chelsea was running so we paired up! All of my friends are doing the Color Run together in July, and I cannot wait!
I had my second run tonight, and feel so good. Well minus the sore muscles in my legs, but no pain no gain! right? haha I had never really like running, but this week has really helped clear my head. It helps me focus on other things. I feel amazing when I am done, and pretty sure I experienced runners high. The second mile was hard, but I slowly figuring this thing out! First of all I need to improve my stride! It is awful and probably why the good ol shin splints are hurting!
Tomorrow will be getting some inserts to try out.. If that doesnt work, I will be investing in some new wheels!! Another tool that is helping me is Nike's Running + App. Nike's shoes are not the best for running, but the App is GREAT! Tells my time, distance and Cals burnt. I can definitely already tell my metabolism is high (I want to eat everything!!)
I plan to blog my running journey, and review back to see progress made... I can do this. I have support and pinterest motivation to keep going! It will definitely be worth it!
