New "Thing"

Heyy all!!
It has a minute since I have blogged. This crazy thing called life has taken over!

I wanted to share with you my newest "thing" I have taken on.. RUNNING! I had recently thought about it, and Chelsea was running so we paired up! All of my friends are doing the Color Run together in July, and I cannot wait!

I had my second run tonight, and feel so good. Well minus the sore muscles in my legs, but no pain no gain! right? haha I had never really like running, but this week has really helped clear my head. It helps me focus on other things. I feel amazing when I am done, and pretty sure I experienced runners high. The second mile was hard, but I slowly figuring this thing out! First of all I need to improve my stride! It is awful and probably why the good ol shin splints are hurting!

Tomorrow will be getting some inserts to try out.. If that doesnt work, I will be investing in some new wheels!! Another tool that is helping me is Nike's Running + App. Nike's shoes are not the best for running, but the App is GREAT! Tells my time, distance and Cals burnt. I can definitely already tell my metabolism is high (I want to eat everything!!)

I plan to blog my running journey, and review back to see progress made... I can do this. I have support and pinterest motivation to keep going! It will definitely be worth it!

The holiday season in almost in full gear. Today is December 1st, and there is only 24 days until Santa comes to town! =)

I cannnnot wait to spend the holidays with people I love the most!

Thanksgiving was great! Ate WAYY to much food, spent time with family, AND shot at my first clay pigeon. I was not successful at all, but I tried! My attempt is shown above.. I was preparing to say PULL!

Changes!

A lot of things have been going on lately.. A lot are GREAT and not so great. School is going pretty good, and spending time with friends and family never gets old! I am a little behind on blogging.. So I will try to catch up with pics and littles short stories.. Then I will try to keep up!

One event happening a few weekends ago was Chels' Bachelorette Party! I was soo excited to see the girls (well some), and have a blast! Of course it was fun and never dull! Here is a pic of Liz, Alex, and I... =)

 

I was so excited the next weekend to have Labor Day!! We had a cook out with the girls again!! I love how everyone is settling down (well kinda), but we do have more gatherings! Boo yaaa to the haters who said we wouldnt make it! We have made it this far! See below for a pic from the cookout!

 

 

That is pretty much my past couple weekends summed up in a couple pics! This weekend is the big Trot and Antique Show!

GOOOOOD Evening!!!!! =)
While at work today I got a wild hair to make Tim Tebow's Mom's Pizza Pie! After running to Walmart to get the ingredients for that and S'mores for the boys, I FINALLY got 'er done! Although I did forget to grease the pan haha! I have the recipe and after pic below!

I did improvise and used jumbo biscuits because they have 0 regular buttermilk! (Bummer!)

It turned out sooo yummy!!! I may have to make this more often!!

Marble Nails

A couple minutes ago I was bored, and decided to do my nails.... Sooo I found marbled nails on Pinterest. I have to say this came out the way I wanted the first time, and I am eXcITeDD! =) 

It was super easy! just put on layer of color down, use glitter nail polish, then add another layer of color.. It is definitely something different!

This is my FIRST day blogging!! =) I decided to join the bandwagon, and get one... 


As I am hanging out waiting for some rain, I talked myself into doing this. I debated for so long. I didn't think I would have much to say, but I think about the events coming up... I will def post lots of pics, and hoping this will get me back into doing Pinterest! =)


Wellll this is all for now! I will post something maybe later?! I feel like I need to spoil/surprise the guys at work with some cookies tomorrow! I might even get crazy and do my nails off of Pinterest?! (It is my obsession!)
